How do you check the float levels, and what do you do to adjust them if needed?

if you have the dark gaskets than you will use .06" of shims under the needle valve.
If you have the stock style than .04" shims under the needle valve.
Do not try to bend the float.
P.S the pin sits on top.

Are you talking about the pin that holds the float in the carb body?
