So they were never used in VW production, right? I had never seen them until I saw Geoff's this past Jan. NOS SWFs, but no VW logos (on those, seems that there were some that were made with them.)
Still not sure about the yellow ribbed sem lenses. I'm restoring 3-4 pairs of SWFs, have some NOS orange, repro orange and NOS yellow. Not sure if anyone would even want the yellow ones. Maybe just fling them up in the classifieds or on eBoy.................? _________________ John Henry

You could buy them as an aftermarket semaphore.
Its called a Pendel-Winker. This is from a 1954 catalog.

John Hamill had a '59 fire wagon for sale at his shop in VT some years back that had a pair of ribbed clackers installed on it. _________________ Thanks,
