Nice car V dub, I like that color!

Question: the car in the background, up to the left, is it a Porsche 914 or...?

I had to look around to find the Vanagon. It must be a Syncro given the gas cap location. The pic isn't large enough for me to see but the gas cap may actually be there. I think the Syncro gas cap is recessed, angled and black (besides its different location from a non-Syncro Transporter).

Ahh, a four-door. I love four-door Type 4's. Where's the "sigh" emoticon?

Last week I save another 412 which was flooded in 2002. Owner want to scrap it, but some VW aircooled fun saw it, called me and ask if I'm interested. Next day, 412 was in my yard.

Here are some pics... body is in perfect condition

I wish my 4-door 412 was in that good shape... Mine will need extensive body repair + all the typical modifications these cars need untill it's driveable again. But still, i can't wait to get my hands dirty and repair the car back to it's original glory.
Great cars you have Milos!

Oasis, you need to get your type 4 fix now! I've got two now and the fever isn't showing any signs of going away...
This is my very basic and very rusty 4-door 412E i bought only recently:

Most of the floors need to be redone also:

Outer body panels are in decent shape -even the engine cover is very good. Only the front fenders will need repalcing:

Haha, I would love a 4-door 412. Your latest is beyond my skills or bank account, but if one comes along after my passport comes back from being renewed, I may get that fix yet ... unless I have to get into a bidding war with you as well. Wink

Here's my '72 411. Still needs a bit of cosmetic work (inside and out), but a good portion of the mechanical work has been fixed since I got it last year (it wasn't even running at the time) and many parts have been replaced, fixed and found. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it metallic turquoise or go in a different direction. Will post more pictures as Shermy progresses...
