I've searched and only found one topic with any mention to this brand. Sold through sears? I have these on a project that I just purchased- wide rim, 15", strong offset (I know little about ow to measure, I'll search that too)
Center caps read "el Tigre" Would be a cool rim on an offroad buggy or even street...

Those are Appliance "Pacer" wheels, big in the buggy and thing crowd. For some reason, I think they were also sold at Montgomery Ward. The El Tigre cap was either from them or Sears, not sure. Other caps looked like these...

If you can find the right offset (tough) you can rock em' on a sedan. I've got two 5.5" in front, 5" out back with the deep dish. I've got some others that are 8" & need narrow hoops, & a pair of NOS 14"X6".

El Tigre wheels were sold through JC Penny. I had a set of those center caps I sold to a Samba member a few years ago.

I've got a set of Pacers on my bug and I love them. There aren't too many people running them on the street, and that's the way I like it. However, if anyone has 1 or 2 centercaps exactly like glandnut posted..I'm looking for them. They need to be in NICE shape, I just bought 3 NOS ones and I need at least one more.

Thanks for this post, when I bought my 62 vert for my wife it had these rims on it and I am currently debating ebaying them or keeping them and running them on my thing. I have been wondering what they are and where they came from.

I'm with Soul, I bought a set of ElTigre Pacers from J.C. Penneys for my 66 Bug, back when I was in High School. Wow, that was a long time ago.
