rear tire carrier/jerry can holder

saw this today. talked to the guy that owns the rig. he fabricated the rear bumper and carriers. would love something like that for the Vanagon.
Turbo Diesel 5 speed from Japan. he says it gets about 20mpg.man it is a nice rig. of course I did not get his name or number to see if he would be interested in fabricating one for me.

oddly enough I was looking for a way to mount a Jerry can to my van at the time. I was thinking of a boat gas tank on the roof rack.but they are to spendy. I like the idea of this one. flat to spread the weight out,but talk about spendy!!
