Anyone know where I can find the plastic pin to reset the trip meter in my '84 Westfalia? I've used a chopstick a few times, but would be nice to have a more permanent solution.

Thanks.

The fatter upper or outer part revolves around the inner or lower part. Unknown why, but if you have any stub left, you could attach a rod to it and be back in business. Drill a small hole in the stub and into your new rod and super glue a piece of hairpin or a needle to hold them together.

This is the solution I came up with for the pin. If you don't have access to a printer, find a piece of plastic or wood that is 5.75mm in diameter, 30mm long, and drill a 4mm hole in the end of it. That will slip over the little stub and you'll be able to press it.
