So, here's some shots of the EZ camper I scored.
Not bad, pretty complete- missing the rear facing bench seat. I guess if it had to be missing anything, thats the easiest thing to fab/replace.
Some very minor scrapes and dings. When they did the 12v swap, they kinda monkeyed the wiring around the silver relay...that could be a PITA to sort out. The engine was relatively new when the bus was parked in 99', as are the brakes. It runs pretty nice, trans is quiet and smoooth.. NO broken glass, thats nice.
I have a feeling that theres some very VERY nice Pearl White paint under the blue. I took the plastic mirrors off the doors and the paint is shiny!
Oh...whats that you ask? What about rust?
Next to none. I think the front floors are have some scale, but they're solid.
And the battery tray only has surface rust.
It'll be for sale soon (now) for anyone who has been dying for a double door w/ no rust.

I wondered the same thing when she handed me TWO keys...but, it does seem like the one key fits everything on it.
I gotta say, if I was keeping it I'd have the oven cleaner out there right now, I think the Pearl White is probably beautiful underneath the flat metallic blue. _________________

FUCK!!! leave those logo's man. Original paint is cool, but so are logo's. You would be erasing its story. As that fella said in the bus find thread, he remembers it in his neck of the woods when he was a child.
either way, someone will enjoy it. _________________ drive your split. |

Yeah...I'll let the next owner decide whether or not to leave them, the logos are neat and all, but they aren't what we usually consider vintage. I remember this bus with original paint, not long after the locksmith guy got it. The logos were added in the early 90's, with the paint. _________________
