				Hello,

I wanted to announce that I will be bringing out Rod Buster, my 69 Ghia to the Fresno Autorama March 13, 14 and 15. We have been invited to the 50th year of the event. I have had the car in hibernation for the last 22 years and have restored it to 1988 show condition.

				Hello Chris.

I remember you KG. I was a teenager back in the 80's when your KG was a hit! I have a copy of the Hot VW mag where you KG was published. Pretty cool.

I guess, the 80's Vee-dubs are making their come back!

Cool KG, BTW!

That's a Type 1 with dual superchargers. I was into that car also when it arrived on the scene way back when. |

WOW! I remember that car! It was so 'RAD'!

Wasn't it considered one of the best custom cars in the world at the time? The next level, VW or otherwise. I think it had a 'credit card' type key, FI, and a bunch of other cool stuff.

Good job Chris!! I'm glad it's still alive and well!! I hope I get a chance to see it in person! |

				Chris,

Thanks for taking most of us down memory lane. The pics are great!!!

Nice to see a legend of VW show car history not beat to death and left for dead.

IIRC wasn't that Ghia originally done in green without so much of the "billet" stuff on it, then revamped? Or am I getting senile and thinking of another cool cover /spread car from way back when? |
