|
|
Hey guys, I did some research on the inserts and I found pros and cons, I dont care and I want them, I have 135r15 in the front and 165r15 rears, I called a suppier today and they said the 135's wont work, due to the sidewall being so little, I was wondering if I get like a 3in insert for the rear and 2in in the front maybe it would?? or if anyone has made the insert work on a 135 let me know, the suplier I called today said they have 2 1/2 and it wouldnt work, let me know, thanks., Joel |

try cokertire.com. they handle many different sizes of those inserts. If one is available, they probably have it. |

I have the 135/165 combo and have 2 1/2 atlas insert. I like them and haven't had any problems except its hard to keep the fronts clean because of the small sidewall. I bought the 3''ers first and were way to big for 135's and I think there to big for 165's too, but I think they'd work.

135s dont exist in a whitewall. Tire paint may be your only option. I'm in the same boat. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone 1914. Ex wifes car.

try the classifieds here on TheSamba. look up atlas or portawall. 165 doesnt matter. just the diameter wheel. 14,15,16 etc. _________________ www.KUSTENKREUZERS.com |

Have you tried Westley's Bleche-Wite? This stuff was designed for keeping whitewalls clean and it is NASTY powerful. Read the warning on the back. You'll want to wear gloves.
