had a shirt up for months now. sold some. no problem. all the sudden it is pulled tdue to content. on the front it says 'Farfromnu' and on the back is a pic of my bug front end photoshopped to look grainy and b&w.
damn nazis (pun intended). so apparently any likeness of a bug at all is theirs! frakkin bulllshit!

The email below is what i recieved. I would like to know EXACTLY what is copyrighted. That is MY PERSONAL CAR! Volkswagen DOOES NOT own a copyright on a privately owned picture of a privately owned vehicle just because they manufactured it 50 years ago! This logo nazi shit you are pulling lately is getting way out of control and I am seriously considering pulling everything and going somewhere else and letting everyone I know of these business practices of trying to strong arm the "little guy" since we cannot afford a lawyer to fight it!

Zazzle is ok for some items..
last xmas I got my father in law a t shirt about his blog that said "ask me about www.(site's name).com".
It was a big hit and he still rocks it.
There was no vw stuff on it tho
because Vw apparently get the Veto...

Zazzle is like CafePress. It depends how you tag the items so they can be searched. I have more than a couple shirts on CP with VW images on them, but no tags relating to anything VW. Haven't sold any  but thye haven't been pulled, either. A couple weeks ago I put on a shirt with a TopGear theme...foolishly tagged it with the same name and it was pulled immediately. Reset the image with no tags, and haven't had a problem... |
