Well the anticipation has been building. You have taking test runs. I think you have it all dialed in for the trip! Talk about good times! Hope weather, traffic, and the buggy all co-operate for the trip of a lifetime! _________________ Street legal fiberglass rocket ship

Nice - you are taking the southern I-40 route!
IF everything is going well and IF you are feeling adventurous....
Take the I-15 from Barstow, CA and head on up to Vegas for a night or so... If you have never been there before - no experience will match it!
You can drive the buggy over the Hoover Dam on the way out!
I do have to caution you though - but not worry you - driving through the desert is like driving inside a hairdryer... it is f*cking hot and the temps this time of year can be over 110 degrees (44 deg. for you Canadians).
Safe travels
The further your journey takes you, the more dangers you will encounter. The more you dare, the more you win.

Good luck on your trip. Don't forget to take time to enjoy it.
I hope to make a cross country buggy trip in the upcoming years. _________________ Jerry...

Keep the wind in your face, the bugs on your windshield and chrome side up. It should be an easy trip, just follow the sun to California.
We’ll see you in Big Bear on the 11th, I'll be the one with Trip Envy written all over my face!
The best part of any trip is the memories you make..... and take with you. |

Have a great trip folks & enjoy the scenery! However, I'd recommend removing the 'top' before traveling; it might make the drive a bit easier!
This is probably why my 'Windshield Bra' idea never took off - too many car wrecks when using the product!

Best of luck friends.
I thought I had lost my mind about buggies.
If you run into any trouble when you get here, I am in Orange County, not too far away and am glad to lend a hand. |

The trip is easy enough. It's showing up smiling at the end that's the challenge! Good luck on the trip and maybe if your updating on the road I'll be able to see you around Santa Cruz Ca.
I want to see a self portrait,(like I posted above),when your about 45 minutes from home. That one will tell the REAL story!
Hoping your "run" is flawless! (and safe). _________________ "We buy things we don't need,..with money we don't have,...to impress people we don't even like". |
