i found this exhaust back in my garage. i've been doing some research and it seems to be a 67 sauer&sohn exhaust. they were one of the first beetle tuners in germany in the late 60's
i'm planning to clean it up and put it under my 66 doka since it is period correct and vintage tune up.
does anyone has experience with it? and someone more information.
i also found what's sound like on this link:

A little online history lesson:
Coors ware was made by the Coors Porcelain Company of Golden, Colorado, a company founded with the help of the Coors Brewing Company. Its founder, John Herold, started the Herold China and Pottery Company in 1910. The company name was changed in 1920, when Herold left. Dishes were made from the turn of the century. Coors stopped making nonessential wares at the start of World War II. After the war, the pottery made ovenware, teapots, vases, and a general line of pottery, but no dinnerware—except for special orders. The company is still in business making industrial porcelain. |
