Show me your silber weiss (pics added)

Just had the roof done on my van, and it seems to be completely different colour t o my Bumpers both are supposed to be silberweiss. Can i get some silberweiss as reference, painter swears blind its ppg silberweiss. the roof seems more yellowy or beigey to me. As i havent got any original L82 to go by im not sure which one is incorrect.

Silver White is sort of a Beige color to some people, meaning it's not a bright white.

I just purchased a can of L82 and the finger print on the paint can top was very beige. When it was sprayed it became very white. It matches my OG paint front bumper perfectly.

Silver white looks very white against my pearl white kombi.
A thing I have noticed about the stock vw colors especially the whites and greys are that they pick up colors very differently in different light and background colors like they are alive. Also the roof is at a totally different angle and would be hard to discern without putting a wheel or bumper up next to it ,another factor is the sheen of new paint will look a little different too.

Here is the comparisson, and i know that light quality is different etc on different parts but it is fair to say that the difference shown in the photo is the difference that i see with the naked eye, the top being more beigey/ creamy. The painter who did the wheels / bumpers i know and trust and works specifically with vws while the guy who did the roof does all sorts but still swears its the L82, until you guys said that it was creamy i was 100% convinced the wheels are correct. Also i have checked through a bunch of old volksworlds and all the silber weiss shown seems to be the whitewhite not the beigey The reason im posting here is i think i may have a problem with the new painter and i want to be sure before iam more forthright with my persuasion. i Have even had a can of L82 mixed up in a spray bomb and its is like the wheels bumpers, i feel that i cant go any further out of my way to prove otherwise Opinions appreciated.[/img]

Wow, the top looks way too Beige to me, as compared to the bumpers.

The bumpers look like they could be Silver White. They don't look "Silvery" to me in those photos though.

Here's my '64 with Silver White bumpers as a comparison. I trust that they are the correct color.

Hello Everett, Nice bus is that L82 on the bumpers I am getting ready to paint my bumpers and was going to purchase L82 spray cans from wolfsburg west and wanted to make sure. I recently aquired 15 window 61 deluxe Sealing wax red and silver white and was trying to make it look decent and was trying to get as close as possible to og color. Would I be able to use this paint on the roof also.

Yes, it's L82. I no longer own this Bus so i should have said "ex-64".
