Anyone have difficulty mounting the coat hook on top of the straps?

All new straps / hooks from WW. Strap is on, no problem.

But I have *no* idea how this hook will fit over the strap. Screws look wider than cap.

do you have the steel bracket that goes onto strap that the 2 screws go thru it and the strap? the cover slides downwards onto the steel bracket.

I do have the brackets, thank you. Appreciate the picture too, that helps (missed the bracket the first time around).

I just can't figure out how the hook "snaps" in place over the bracket ... doesn't seem to be a fit. Will try again this afternoon.

Bill,

Slid into place, but it doesn't "snap"? Just sits there? Here are pics ... if this is how it is, just seems a bit, er, unfinished. Smile

UGH.

Got the wrapper, part # 301-829 from MidAmerica. http://www.mamotorworks.com/acvw?frame=1.6470

From the picture, though, looks like the 379-380 hook was sent (packaged / labeled incorrectly).

But THANK YOU for the help!

correct----- that is for late 67 onwards that have 2 vertical screws instead of 2 horizontal screws.

Parts arrived today. What. A. Difference. Now I understand your "huh?" about the snapping questions.

Thanks again for the guidance.
