A Vintage Volkswagen Car Show
Sunday, July 25th, Lavallette, NJ
Philadelphia Ave. & Bay Blvd., At the Park by the bay.
pre 1980 Classic Volkswagen Cars and Buses may enter.
VW Campers of any year are welcome also.
People's choice and kid's favorite awards
trophy plaques for winners
No entry fee!!!!
Yes, for the SEVENTH year running, this is a FREE show!
Car Registration between 8am and 11am
spectator judging from 9am to 1pm
Awards presented at 2pm SHARP!
Early awards to beat the shore traffic home.

Arts and crafts show across the street.
Swimming for the kids with lifeguards on the bay RIGHT AT THE SHOW!

Just found my way back to the air cooled world. Haven't been to a show in years, but I am looking forward to this event. Got a new 79 Riviera camper I am starting to restore, and can't wait to meet up with some contacts in the area.

I will be there along with my Dad and his ghia. We actually plan our week shore vacation around this show. I can't wait!!!!!!

This is the one show I never have trouble getting the wife to come along too. The beach seems to be a big draw.

Thanks for the kind words, Jack.
I thought you guys did a great job with Punchbuggy.
Despite the near record temperatures, I had a great time.
Lets hope the thunderstorms don't hit us this year.
I'm not cancelling this show for any forecasts.
Burned by the early thunderstorms last year.
I watched them evaporate from the radar, leaving beautiful weather and a cancelled show.
Not gonna happen this year...

This is a great show, fun for the whole family. Unfortunately I'll be out of town that weekend but I encourage everyone to attend.

It's was called off that morning because of huge Thunderstorms rolling in. They did roll in that day, but 3 or 4 hours after the weatherman said it would. Damn weatherman, never get's fired for being wrong.

I don't know, I tend to make plans one day and drop them the next, so I try not to get anyone involved. |
