What do those stars denote that you can see on either side of the engine number? _________________ Not enough car seats fit into my:

Wow, a 1941 Type 128, or could this be a "Raketten-Antrieb" Type 129...? That would be something
Congratulations with this great find!
Regards,
Paul

This is the best VW with I know,
I can just say Im very happy with this that someone have this car now
Ok so now some information with I know about this car.
car is from 1941 and has orginal front axle, gearbox and engine ( all
numbered 19 ) This totaly COOL. What can be better ( original driver
From this what I know car was cought by US Army 1945 on the Obersalzberg and was bought from a VW dealer 1946 from the US Army in Berchtesgarden. The new owner familie had the car so from 1946 to yesterday
Good luck with restauration |

What a find, maybe Hitler himself took a ride in it. It must have been close to him, stationed at the Platterhof Garage, or something. Very nice. |
