I bought my headliner wolfburg west IM completely satisfied with it mine is tan cloth.

is there a difference between a 55 and a 56 oval? mines a 56 hardtop and fit perfect?

WW doesnt sell a "55 Hardtop" headliner because they only sell a "through '60" because only the pre '55 and '56-'57 sunroof models were different, all hardtop headliners before '61 were the same:
