No clue, just tossing some of the pics into the thread. I see a round reg on the engine, do '54-'55? The big "V" on the front look Citroen-esque.... _________________ John Henry

This car has an incredible story ! I'm a bit in a hurry tonight to translate all the story, but will let you guys know more about it later.
Just one thing to tease you, the body would go up 40 cm using 4 electric lever. That way you could access to a secret place. The car was used to import things without paying the custom fees... |

Looks a little heavy in the rear. Thats a lot of air between the front tires and fenders. _________________ Mother Nature is a Mean Evil Bitch! |

I can't read Dutch but I think it says it was built on a Type 82 chassis which should explain why it rides so high. _________________ Central Jersey VW Society

OK, translation of the Vergo :
The year is 1950 and the number is unknown.
The Swiss brothers Vergo did choose for this futuristique wagon.
Two models are known, the prototype of '56, and the one with seagulldoors.
What about the Wendler. It was built in '49 on one sole car, based on a KDF type 82 E, with steel roof and wooden side panels. The firm Wendler did use the car until aproximately 1963.
I hope this will help you folks. If you need a translation, just call me.
