Man! I want one of these windows. I saw one online not long ago. I forgot where but it is awesoome....not sure it would hold the headliner well...and i am not even sure if it was a factory option but man...with pop put windows, safari front window and this rear pop out gem....my oval would be awesome in the summer time....now if i can find an affordable raptop clip for my hardtop...i would be in heaven... |

Does the window seal out water in the rain? ....I imagine it has to be a very tight fit or else the leaking would be outta control huh? |

A rear safari will leak even worse then a front because the water just lays in the window opening.
Up front the windshield is upright enough you don't get water collecting and pooling in the window opening like in the rear. _________________ Mother Nature is a Mean Evil Bitch! |

looks good, just move faster than the carbonous oxide in the exhaust.
If you start feeling fatigued or flu-ish step on that throttle! _________________ I contend that we thinking people should,

This is awesome!
Anyone know where I could get one for a big rear window (not oval). My beetle is 67 in Australia but I think it's the same as a 65 in the US.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

HaHa! Now that's funny! Anyone who's ever driven a blazer or a Jeep with the hath open can relate to that. Not a good feeling and the idea is better in theory than in practice. |

Glad to see you go it installed. It seems to be a one (or two) only piece. Nice job getting it. If you ever sell the car, I would take it off your hands. _________________ Central Jersey Volkswagen Society - President |

Great way to introduce rain water into your luggage compartment. Unacceptable at best. _________________ Defying conventional wisdom since 1970 |
