On my way home last night from the 67th & Bell hangout some guy pulled up to me at a stoplight. He was so appreciative and wanted to thank the approx 25 classic V-dubs that showed up to their inaugural cruise night. These guys at Peoria Volkswagen (91st Ave & Bell) are BIG afficionados of old v-dubs, plus they took care of us (I had 2 burgers a hotdog, 2 bags of chips and 3 sodas, no questions asked). I believe there is a swap meet/car show coming up soon also. Hopefully someone took pics and can post them up.

Misbehavin Motorsports has been working with Lunde's Peoria Volkswagen to create a FUN and relaxing VW Get together, It is our goal to bring the Classic Air cooled cars and the New generation of Volkswagen together.
Lunde's Peoria Volkswagen cruise nights scheduled so far are

| Thought I would bump this up for those that forget the stickys exist like myself. I got word over the weekend that Peoria VW is having another cruise nite this Friday night February the 3rd. I didnt see it updated on The Samba so I called Mark at Peoria Vw and he did confirm. Since Ive been down here in the valley this has been the best. Lots of aircooled v-dubs, lots of food. lots of parking. Way cool |

So do you folks accept "out of towners" showing up in a rental car?? I plan to be in town on April 6th but will have to leave my VW's parked up here in their nice warm garage. I was thinking I just might come over and say hi to some of the local VW fans.

I Personally welcome any and ALL VDUBBERS even if they show up in a rental car. Hell for many years I had to show up in my Dodge P/U because my car was not street legal.
Tomorrow night is CRUISE NIGHT. My GOAL for the night is 40 VW's. New , Old, Rusty, Shiny, Slow, Fast it doesn't matter just SHOW UP !!

Huge JUDGED Car Show, Swap Meet, and Vendors.
UNTITED BLOOD SERVICES WILL BE ON HAND FOR DONATIONS
JENNA BEARS FOUNDATION will also be in attendance

| Heard a rumor that there was a cruise night this Friday night before the show. I called Mark at Lunde VW and there is no cruise night on Friday. But you can always join the few regulars that go to 51st Ave & Bell Rd at the Chili Bombers parking lot on Friday night for that cruise night... |
