Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the VW world and just was given a very near to complete Scamp or Veep kit. I got it from my wife's family and it was in storage for 25 years. So, I will post pic's soon, I'm just wondering if anyone knows much about them. How much it's worth and if any one has any other information. It was made by Wil-Mac products. I've seen the add on here but not much other info.

Thanks

Is it possibly a Veep by Hadley Engineering of Costa Masa, the same company that made the Transvair? Hadley was the original VW/JEEP, from the early 70s. Here's a real nice Veep

Is it maybe a Veepster. Veepsters were made in Mesa Az until about 2007.

I'm not sure when they made the Scamps. The picture of the Scamp in their ad is actually a picture of a Veep that Hadley used in his original ad, right down to the Jackman 8 spokes and Armstong Norsemans. Using a picture of somebody else's product is not a good sign they ever produced very many.

As far as how much its worth, I've noticed that when you decide to sell something, it depends mostly on how much you're offered and how much you'll take for it.

BTW, the pictures from 2003 of the white rusty "Veep" in the gallery is actually a VWeep.

If you find any information, please share it with me. I've just recently acquired one too, and can't seem to find much of anything.
