My grandfather and my uncle started it in 1970 but never finished. The body is in perfect shape and is a rootbeer brown. They were in the middle of wiring it when they stoped. As for the c cab... this is the roadster which is a convertible and I have the soft top wich was still in the box. |

You don't mention them so I guess it doesn't have the Barris accessories, like the lights, metal grill, ornament and bumpers. Another thing about the Barris is, some of the bodies were made by his franchisees and so the quality of there material and finish could be possibly excellent or possibly ?. Is it plain rootbeer brown or a well done undamaged metal flake (plain brown wouldn't be very attractive at all).
The C-cab would be worth more, but with the tag and depending on if it has accessories and how good the body is, I'd say in its unfinished state its probably worth up to twice what a generic unfinished kit is worth $1K-$4K. |

It is the flake paint job and for the assessories... it has the head light on the car and the bumpers are in the car I believe...they are two crome double bar bumpers |

It sounds pretty nice so you might get toward the top end of the range but in comparison a brand new Meyers Manx Kickout SS in your choice of color with a compound curve windshield, opening hood, stainless rolbar, etc., is just $5.5K.
Being in your family for 40 years, I think it would be worth more to you if you finished it and kept it. |
