|
|
I just picked up my first VW sand rail and need some help identifying the engine. I was told that it may have been from a 74 Notchback. Where can I find the info that I need? I want to start ordering parts to clean it up. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to the Samba. The engine id # is stamped into block at the base of the alt/gen stand. It will begin with a letter then numerals. Look up that number to see what type you have. _________________ I NEVER KNEW I KNOW SO LITTLE, TILL NOW.... |
