Looks like an early 90s M50 non-Vanos, with a custom euro intake. looks like it might have a turbo, hard to tell by the quality. Those bmws need to have their cooling systems in tiptop shape or theyll overheat, hope this guy doesnt have issues. _________________ -LeoDogg |

Intercooler and big wastegate are abit of a give away.
Obviously changed to a topmount though.

He has done away with pretty much everything VW except the body.
Its same sort of deal as the Bugster.
Just a Super Beetle body sitting on a BMW Chassis.

Super beetles don't have beams, they have struts. Early super beetles had steering boxes, later models had steering racks. _________________ Formerly known in the forums as "OVALTEEN"

That is all BMW E30. Looks like they cut a 325 down to the floor pans and put the bug on it. The strut towers, steering rack, and front sub-frame are all Bimmer. _________________ 61 Turkis 11 window. Rough, patina'd, slammed, 2110, Fun.
