Hey,
I've will be spending next weekend in Frankfurt (1 and 2 November) and was looking for some recommendations on VW-related activities.
I already plan to visit the flea market in Sachsenhausen on Saturday morning and I have a few auto parts stores in mind that stock Hazet tools. That should take care of Saturday morning. In the evening, I plan to catch Mainz 05 match as well. But beyond that, I don't really have any fixed plans in mind. Any suggestions from those in the area or that have lived in or visited Frankfurt previously?
Cheers. _________________ Andrew

Hi there,
Sorry, as far I know, there are currently no events of that kind in the FFM region. Is that your first time in Germany?
I'm living 100 km north east of Frankfurt.
VW Cruise-ins are rather from April to October in Germany.
In March, there is a huge car parts market in Kassel. In April, there is Europe's largests vintage car show, the Techno Classica, but in Essen.
But Frankfurt has a car part dealer called "Autoteile Schuwerack". Owned and operated by an older woman. It rather has the basics, but has a very unique location. Easily to reach in Frankfurt's downtown. The Hessischer Rundfunk featured this shop in one of their shows about Frankfurt and it's unique shops.
I also know the Strassenflohmarkt at the Schaumankai, between the Holbeinsteg and the Eisener Steg, only at Saturdays between 9AM and 2PM.
Maybe I could help you a little bit.
Best regards,
Forst Class Doka. |
