Some updates.
The board design is progressing and most of it is already laid out again. We are going order prototypes and keep testing.

Thanks for the update, can’t wait to try one.
Went on a road trip today and the idle finally got so bad surging up to 3k I had to unplug the unit to get home. Until today running the A/C would keep my idle normal, but that trick is sadly no longer working.
I think you will sell a lot of these _________________ Driving a 90 Carat since 2014

As a temp solution you can disconnect the idle air control valve and then raise idle by 50-100 rpm. You can do this in the summer only. |

And you raise the idle by turning the big flat screw on the throttle body counter clockwise. _________________ '87 Syncro

Today I am sharing a video my partner made of the actual valve in the idle control valve and how it reacts when you turn the AC on or off and use power steering.
On the left is our simulation running on a PC. It controls a prototype of the driver for the valve. On the right is the valve itself. You can see how it reacts to the extra load required at idle.
The valve has a delay because not all the code is implemented yet.

Our prototype board and code is going along. This seems a bit complicated but basically all these components will end up on the actual board.
We currently run everything with inputs that simulate the engine but obviously once we have our prototype it will run of the engine and we will make final adjustments.

I know it looks simple and I admit I thought it is not that complicated but as we dive more and more into it we find more stuff. We also want it to be reliable of course so we are testing everything. |

Oof this looks incredible. My ICU is starting to slowly give me more and more problems. I suppose I'll have to try my hand at repairing mine while I wait for these to be on sale. |

That is some very impressive work!
You might want to throw some capacitors at the ends of those power busses on the bread boards. |

Today I started working on a test platform that will enable us to run each unit attached to the van and have banana connectors so we can scope it.

So exciting news. We received the prototype boards from the manufacturer and are testing the fit to the box and starting to load them with components.
The code is almost complete as well.
