Looks like it was done in crayon. I assume they don't give you sharp objects at the institution.

Being another Silicon Valley-ite, I gotta tell you that it's folks like you that give Kahlifohnia the reputation it has !! Very Happy

What the heck, if you're planning on cruisin' to Santa Cruz, it won't even be noticeable!

the art sucks or the design? i know the art is way below par, but why go any further if the design is gonna get scrapped anyway?

Something about the whole sunrise being right in the middle gives it a real born-again christian feel in my opinion. Of course that's just me and maybe that's what you're going for.

I just expect a youth group to jump out instead of flower people.

I'd go for it. Anybody can do a two tone red and white job (how many hundreds of those have I seen?) on a bus. In the end it's your bus. If you like it, go for it.

And pass that pipe, will ya? Cool

It's groovy man. I especially like the nod to Bear's Choice, and the floral roof treatment. My bus still has the original paint, what's left of it, and folks still call it a hippy bus. That paint job would leave no doubt.

If that's your thing, then I say go for it! I do like the design and if it could be painted with a quality job then I think it would look groovy. It's not something I would roll in but that's just my own opinion, but if I saw you rollin' in it I would appreciate it for what it is, and think it was cool, but just make sure it is done right or else it would just look s**tty.

The main problem I've seen with these mural paint jobs, is that they are always painted using really shitty paint, and the design might be cool, but the application and paint looks like crap. What is your plan for painting it? House paints? Spray cans? If somehow you could get a professional paint job, it would be cool IMO. Otherwise, it's going to come out looking bad.

not my thing, but if that's what ya want, go for it. i can at least give you some constructive criticism on that kinda look-dont paint the same shit on both sides and leave the top and the bumpers white. you said its a crude drawing so i dont know what kinda art skills ya got. assuming that's it, have someone else draw it out on the bus. it could actually be kinda cool looking if ya get the letters and shit just right. unfortunately, it is a bay, so no matter what you do, it's still gonna look like shit. Very Happy

btw, unless it is really really nicely done (very professional and expensive looking) and even then prolly, leave extra time whenever you drive it anywhere. once the cops get done searching it, ya may have to wait for the k9 unit.
