I sand blasted the pan, sprayed it with ppg epoxy, and put on two coats of single stage black.
then put on two coats of hurculiner bed liner for chip resistance

did you come by bugformance of san jose one day and ask about wheel options? i remember talking to somebody about a ghia that was getting many of the same modifications. did you used to live in modesto? man, i can't put my finger on it but something seems familiar.
if you're the same person i'm thinking about, i'm glad you chose to go with something besides empis or smoothies for wheels! the rest of it looks very good too. _________________ RIP HBB 10.10.84 - 12.25.09

I have been to bugformance a couple of times, not shure if I asked about wheels. I delt with bruce the two times I can think of. I was in just Monday night at 5:30 picking up a nose cone grommet and talking to bruce about shifters. I never lived in Modesto been in san jose all my life. hope that jogs your memory

Haven't updated the progress lately, just finished the exhaust.
didn't like seeing the header, so fabbed a metal extension to cover the header and enclose the mufflers
next step is to figure out what guages to use so I can finnish the dash

Working on the dash now, set guages back from the face in a cluster more like new cars. just need to do a little more bodywork to smooth out some warpage.

today I removed the area where the dash dropped down for vent controls to get a straight line on the bottom. vents will have hidden controls, and radio will pivot down from dash bottom, and retract for a clean line.

It has been a while since I have updated my progress, Finished the hidden(drop down) radio, closed up all of the gaps in the glove box to get a uniform small line around. made a smaller latch assembly with removable knob. Sprayed the first coat of primer on the dash today.
