Hi folks.

This is for an ABA with ~ 60K km's on bottom end rebuild with new pistons, rings, bearings seals.

The only thing done to the head was new valve guide seals.

Compression test engine cold after it sat for a few days:

1: 190
2: 190
3: 150
4: 150

First start, engine cold, it runs rich and a bit rough for a bit.

Could the lower readings indicate lifters that aren't pumped up? IF so, would that mean the the valves aren't opening all the way hence the rich rough start?

Neil.
