I'm having an issue with no brake lights, and intermittent left signal light. If i wiggle the switch a bit the turn signal will respond. But no brake lights. I, getting power to and from the BL switch. Pretty sure from there it goes to the TS switch, then the brake lights.
How hard is that switch to work on ? Do I drop the column and start there ?
TIA.

They are quite complicated, full of unique parts. Doug in Chicago restores them

Dougs name sounds so familiar but I’ve not used him for turn signal work. What else does he work on?

Did you look at the link? He lists other services, along with his home page, at the bottom

Thanks Jacks, he rebuilt two early fuel pumps for me several years back.
At age 82, my memory isn’t what it once was!

I had a very old can of contact cleaner spray. Maybe 15 years old...Pulled the steering wheel off and used what what left in the can.
Unbelievable ! I now have working brake lights and turn signals !

Going for a drive today.
