What do you do when you just broke the all time NCAA scoring record?

Make sure your teammate is picking up her guard. They interviewed her at half and she was totally focused on what they needed to do better to win the game. A poise and maturity you don’t always see at 22 years old.

I don't know who she is but I caught a bit of the world indoor athletics coverage from glasgow and was impressed by a young american athlete. now I don't know who he was either but as the bbc reporter asked him a question it coincided with the start of a national anthem. his dignity and respect as he indicated to her that they should silently look to the podium was heartening. sadly the bbc reporter didn't have a clue as she stuck the microphone under his chin regardless Rolling Eyes

found him - noah lyles displaying sportmanship

The clip on the record break8ng game showed it all, drawing three pointers from downtown, driving to the hole, and dishing off passes in the paint, amd down court vision.

Iowa rocks too!

Congrats to her!

And to those who think Iowa only raises corn and now basketball players......might be surprised at what you are missing. Very sharp state with a lot going on. I moved back to Oklahoma City from Iowa 5 years ago.

Oklahoma city and Oklahoma in general are rocking and booming. It's amazing how many people are moving to both places. I have lived in DC, Atlanta, Dallas and Philly....so I have a pretty good benchmark of what interesting, good and upwardly mobile means.

If you think they are just flyover states.....just keep on flying over! Wink

Yes, please. The Midwest is a wonderful place, stay on the coasts and don't ruin it. Cool

Woman's basketball in Iowa has always been played at a different level. Just for fun, look up the old 6 on 6 played back a few years ago. The entire state would shut down to watch the state championship games.
