Better calipers?

Since 1989 I have been using 914 rears and Gina fronts. The 914's have the same emergency break set up as a Bug.

In my mind rear emergency brakes are a must have !!!

Last year I posted how I was driving and in front of me were 3 cars at a red light. I was doing about 25 mph when my brake pedel went to the floor. Took a few seconds to remember I had a hand brake. My bug went up on a side walk no damage and no one hurt. Could have been a 3 car pile up.

Drove to auto body shop about a mile away just using my hand brake. Another reason to have a hand brake . Did not have to call a tow truck.
