Which one, the guy in the Hot VWs T shirt, or the guy with the plaid sport shirt?
Actually, Glenn, I was probably at my heaviest when that photo was taken, back in 2003 or 2004, at the Florida Bug Jam. Thats when I coaxed Joe into coming out for the first time in over 20 years, seeing what's become of the air-cooled VW.. he was blown away by the hi-po VW stuff, and he was especially blown away that a set of wheels he sold new for $39.95 each, were going for the prices they were... along with all the other EMPI stuff that was for sale.
He REALLY got an eyefull when he came to the Bug-In and saw some of the "street" cars, and dedicated race cars...
Anyway, since then, I've moved, changed my lifestyle, get exercise (almost) daily, and have just now gone under the 200 pound mark, from 235-240 at my heaviest. |

I thought his real name was "Joseph C. Vittone" I'm just saying because thats what I see on his US Patents for the vintage EMPI products.

His "Given" name was "Guiseppe Carlo Vittone" I think it was... but he became known as "Joe Vittone" and he used to sign everything concerning EMPI, and many other business interests he had ( and still has to this day, some of them) as "Joseph C Vittone" |

Ok, here's a question I have. How hard is it to get Joe's autograph? I have a couple pieces I'd like to get signed. |

Do a search for "VDM coach wheel" yours has the wrong horn button.
I bought mine at a show last year for $60 but the horn ring is missing a section.
