However smooth gates would fix that look.

Never got to tell you at FFF, but that ride is sick.... it made me feel really unskilled. Quite the feat you have accomplished, Kevin. I'd let you cut my double cab up any day! At least get it lowered a few feet...
Hope to see it with gates and all soon....

How does the side door open??

It slides open just like a regular baywindow bus door.

The guide bearings are on the bottom and top of the leading edge of the door and along the center line of the door in the rear. All those bits are still present so it looks like it should work.

I kinda like the looks of the bay window , nothing wrong with the hurst bumper
Keep it up kevin looking good.

VERY VERY COOL! Exceptional job!

Question: Is the overall length greater than a double-cab? It looks like the bed is as big as a double-cab bed, so given that it's a tripple cab, that would make it overall a longer truck?

oldoval Fri May 16, 2008 1:45 pm

Not to answer for kevin, but the bed is alot smaller than the regular double cab, I know the wheel base is the same as a bus, im betting the length of the body is the same to.
Kevin will correct me if im wrong, im sure.

I agree the picture sitting at the curb is bad ass!!!!
