This 23 is the baddest, sickest bus of all times....

First pic to build a little tension...

Check it out closely, body bumpers that morph into the wheel flares
and that modular roof to fill up that nasty old sunroof hole!

Next to the fronts!

It's been a while since I've thrown-up a little in my mouth for what an owner did and posted. Despite your claims that the truck may go through many incarnations while you own it, this first one was a loser and a complete shame. Cut wheel wells are the hemorrhoided ass of any type 2 and to have actually created your own hemorrhoided ass for us all to see... um, very bad :-& . This thread is about all the hemorrhoided ass buses we must now fix... not how to proudly portray this said styling violation and failure from one's own hands. The truck is so insulted, why don't you just cut the whole thing up? Do you really drive that thing? Please, for the sake of the bus's dignity, put your creativity to rest and fix the old dude proper. I think I'm going to go get sick again...

Whoa ! Calm. Calm.

I disagree. If any vehicle on this planet screams freedom of expression, it is VW. Whatever you want out of a mode of transportation, you can create somehow with a VW. I and others may not agree with some of the ideas that manifest through the canvas that is VW, but what it actually comes down to is the owners tastes (or lack thereof) and dreams. That's the great thing about steal, it can always be repaired and rearranged. Purists have their place and hackers have their's. Problem is that all of us should have a little of both floating around between our ears.

Either way, I love Joescoolcustom's single cab. Hope it all you wanted and I hope you have a blast enjoying the time that you have with it.

Funny thing is so did I. Wasn't even aware it existed, but because of you I just threw up a little in my mouth. I couldn't wait to get to the end to see what had been added. NOTHING!!! LMAO

Well, call me crazy, but I'm having my cut wheel wells restored, with newly cut replacement doglegs!

Before:

After:

And the guy on the right walked up to me at the OCTO Barndoor reunion and told me how he was paid to hack the wheel wells 38 years earlier! He said it was a nice truck and begged Dave Beeson, the owner, not to cut it up. The rest is history.
