Made to order in unpainted gelcoat resin.Usually 28 days delivery.

There are several Split bus models available so i wont touch that unless i get enough interest. I always wanted to make a double cab, with teh Herbie Busses available cheaply they are easy to amend.

Ghia models have been out there in the past at a large scale. but im no modelmaker and the one off model would be crude. I could turn out a one off thing if anyone has a decent sized model and drawings of a Thing.

Squareback/Notch/fastbacks again not so easy. And 411 the same. Im willing to have a go but setup costs for each model are about £50-70 each Plug and then the moulds. With enough interest im willing to try.
I have been looking for a ghia body in 1:12.
Do you know of any places that I should look?

Thanks
Rob

RC10 GT

Nitro Mini has .18 with a two speed tranny. all carbon fiber chassis and shock towers. tons of hop ups. luckily i was able to meet the actual guy who holds the molds for the VW bus body. i was able to get him to pop out 6 bodies for me two years ago. i still have them all but not willing to part with them. These bodies come as a full bus and you have the option to cut it out and make a singlecab out of it. comes with all the pieces to make it a truck. I still try and buy up as much as i can for my mini. i hope to have this rc car for years to come only because i dont think that anyone will be producing VW bus bodies again any time soon.

Do they have R/C sand drags now? I'd LOVE to do that, but we never get to do anything cool over here :(
They probably do, but i dont know.... That would be cool though. I am just going to throw some paddles on it and a big engine and take it to the beach and glamis.

This is the Scary F201, built in Washington, now resides in California...the only Tamiya F201 ever built to the hilt...I now have a slightly custom Xray T2 007 I'll post up later...

I used to race R/C pretty competitively. I've raced all over SoCal, the UK and in Guam. Last time out I race the Jammin Pro Buggy and Pro Truggy. I love that but since my move to SoDak I don't do it because well there isn't any good tracks within 6hrs. I'll post pics of my rides when the site is back up!

I was always into RC cars as a kid.
I didn't get much into them until i was around 15 though, that's when i bought my first nitro powered car
That didn't last too long though, after i bought my second car I lost interest (i got my license and a job around the same time)

My first nitro RC, a redcat volcano (pretty good for the price):

unfortunately the baja bug body its all crappy now due to peeling paint (it was my first rc body paint job)

Second (and un-used for a while now) HPI

some day I'll get back into it... some day

RaythO Tue Feb 19, 2008 8:30 pm

Had a Clodbuster, bullhead, MRP High roller and a USA1. I also had one of the first sledgehammers. Midnight Pumpkin was my first RC followed by too many to count. I still have my dirt oval RC 10, left offset Chassis, Trackmaster belt tranny (mid Mount), 10L front beam. I`m looking for a SRP-1

Mr. Unpopular Tue Feb 19, 2008 8:42 pm

I had a Clodbuster for a week or two

When I was in high school I worked at a local Hobbytown USA. The manager and I wanted Clod's BAD. SO we decided to pull 2 from stock to build for us and we'd pay the store over time. Well, I built them both, we played with them in the store for a while, then the owner sold the store. We really didn't want to explain what we did, so we put the trucks back into stock. I was kinda tired of it anyway. The thing was dog slow, and we didn't really have any terrain to test it.

I was into RC's for a few years. Had a T-Maxx that I played with in the pits for a few years but I got sick of spending money on it. I still have my Sportraxx Raven ST that I mess around with sometimes. They are alot of fun but mine seemed like they broke every time I used 'em...but it could have been my driving...

Team Losi 8ight-T

spoon Tue May 06, 2008 10:15 pm

How the hell did I miss this one. I have a Team Losi XXX-S, which I don't run at all. An HPI RS4 (original) is my daily, pictured. Please excuse the body posts as I run multiple bodies on this chassis and I am too lazy to switch body posts every time. I don't enter them in shows, I drive the shit out of them, so they're beat up.

Yeah, I work at a hobby shop and we sell those. Its pretty much a Duratrax Evader.

mrmarcdude Thu Sep 06, 2012 3:26 pm

I have been into R/C everything for the past 12 years or so, and used to race at a local track. I have had quite a few in my days. The list...

-Tamiya Frog (my pops handed down to me)
-Tower Hobbies Nitro st-15 (garbage)
-Kyosho Ultima st type R Pro (race truck)
-Kyosho Skyline mini z
-Kyosho Abrams tank
-Tamiya TL01
-Bolink Digger
-Bolink sport 2000 (oval car)
-2 Traxxas Stampedes
-Traxxas Rustler
-Team Associated rc10gt (race truck)
-Duratrax Nitro Evader (still have)
-Team Losi Mini-t w/ Mamba (still have)
-Traxxas Jato (still have)
-Redcat Truggy (clean as hell, got for free, still have)
-Tamiya Clodbuster (not a reproduction, still have)

Out of all of those my favorite has to be the Clodbuster. I always wanted one as a kid, but could never touch the cost of a complete kit. When I finally got mine I gave it the Grave Digger treatment, and I absolutely love it. Sure, its slow, and heavy. But, it has character thats hard to match!

I also have a e-flite mini helicopter, a Herr Engineering Cloud Ranger (Plane), and a ducted fan f-18 hornet that I'm scratch building from depron, and balsa. Its going to have a 54" wingspan, and should come in at just over 80" in length; its about 30% complete.
