| go there! rent a quad and drag a good running engine! gas and a battery and of course one of the chimers in on here that can go and do the unthinkable and drive it out . dont forget a compressor and some air. maybe a jack!or wait for the big freeze and snow mobile the supplies in! I know i wanna do it but i work for "the man" and he says 3 weeks off and no fun or you may not die of a heart attack!!!with a stolen retirement and absolutely no soul to retire with!!maybe in 3 years when i get a 4th week vacation!!!Now you have created a monster here so you have a duty to grab it or secretly tell me where it is and i will send in the delta force for a prisoner extraction. Minimal collateral damage on the alaskan frontier that is!! Good luck should you choose this mission soldier!!!god bless the last piece of the united states of america on this here continent!!! |

| I say buy it because of the following reasons; almost nobody else knows about it, you're saving another bus, someone else might want it, you might make some money, you're saving another bus, I need another beer, it might be more complete/restorable/driveable than you think, and yes I would like another beer. Thank god it's Friday!!! Get it, buy it, take it home. |

It doesn't but at least for this Bus, the green front seat does. |

There was a second photo of the bus that showed some more details. It was removed because........ :?:
Yes, the second photo showed the driver's side and you could see the rear bumper and the grab rail inside of the middle seat. It looked like the middle seat was unclamped and had tipped backward. What I could see of the headliner looked nice too. Material around the cargo door windows looked nice.
The second photo showed the front license plate very clearly so maybe he was trying to not disclose that. The new photo above shows it though. |

I mentioned the sigla glass because it is one more thing to emphasize the standard model it appears to be. The majority of standards came with safety glass (for passengers), I am not sure you can say the same about kombi/cargos. yes the other removed photo showed the bumper, interior better. Fun topic.

no idea on that idea of sigla glass=micro....
I had a ambulance=sigla glass
westy=sigla glass
kombi=sigla glass
some chesnut brown pop out frames=sigla
if not rusty and for the looks of the ext pics, not rusty.... its a good one to get, get running-have. if not something you like, a good one to trade for something you like later on. a bigger plus if interior panels, all seats and orig upholstery |

now, that's funny, especially when one is drunk, I work for one too, although I try save enough money not to give a shit in order not to get a heart attack :), I may even get a 4th week as well in a couple of years, what a system |

I won't let this one die. Sigla glass is for safety.
Ambulance = passengers
westy = passengers
chestnut brown deluxe = passengers
micro = passengers
kombi = may or may not be safety glass/may or may not be passengers
panel/pick up = no passengers not often safety (front doors)
As said one more thing to emphasize (not prove) standard model over kombi. The pleated green front seat is the give away though. But that could be a replacement also. I still like it no matter how you cut it. |

ok i wont let you continue...you specified that it would not be a kombi because it has sigla glass...you are wrong plain and simple regardless of the fact that you mentioned that there was a green seat in another post.
sled...you also specified that fat bas mirror arms are 57 latest...you are also wrong...that is a 58 feature also. |

my mistake. When did the fat base mirror arm stop? I have a 58 standard with an original mirror arm and it is not fat base. Just curious. |

| Kevin, just fly in, find a place to land and check it out. If you find a place to land your plane nearby so I wouldn't have to walk to far I'd ride along for the trip and to help you. Never been to Alaska :wink: |
