Well done Dodgers, well earned.
Houston did not cheat today. |

The 5th inning had 3 errors and LA made them pay for it.
Honestly, the Yankees could of won game 1 if Freddie struck out. And they could of won game 5 if Cole made the play at 1st.
But they didn't, LA was the better team.
My only consolation, is that at least the Mets beat LA twice and the Yankees only once. ;) |

I think Yankees win Game 5 readily if (1) Judge makes routine catch in center field or (2) Cole covers first base (huge mental errors both).
Error by SS was a physical error, that happens. |

The consolation prize is the Dodgers have to go back to LA. |

In a nutshell.
I am celebrating, and despite the allure of winning at home, the Yankees were too good to leave that door open for them. I am glad we won it in five.
Despite the first base coverage flub, Cole pitched a brilliant game. More than good enough to win, if the fielding hadn't choked. And I agree about Freddie's game 1 miracle. This series was a lot closer than the numbers make it appear.
But for today... GO DODGERS! First of many to come. Finally getting the parade we were denied last time. And on Fernando's birthday, what a story! |

My cousin played with Freddie in Alanta and told me Freddie was one of the coolest/nicest guys he has ever played with. |

The media is reporting 12 arrests from the unrest from last night's celebrations. For L.A., that's damn good! Every city has idiots that go overboard to celebrate. Had it been NY, the number of arrests would have easily surpassed 1000 :P |

He is genuinely that nice. Not a front. With all he's been through he could be bitter, negative, angry... but he isn't.
I was so proud of Dodger fans who did their homework before his first game at Dodger stadium... the "Fre-ddie...Fre-ddie...Fre-ddie..." chants started and 45,000 fans joined in. Just like in Atlanta. He was stunned, not expecting to be welcomed so warmly. The look of shock was so heartwarming. |

L.A. D.A. Gascon will release them without bail and not file charges. |

I didn't realize that Freddie holds dual citizenship (Canadian/US). He must be the first technically Canadian MVP of the WS. Nice! |

In my opinion, Cole was pulled too early in Game 1. Regardless, if Freddie makes contact an 1/8th inch lower on the ball, it's a simple fly out or pop up and Yankees win Game 1. |
