in 1961, volkswagen showed this karmann ghia type 34 coupé on the internal car exhibition called iaa; with a lowered front end, wider rear rims and wheels, double rear lights and a double piped abarth exhaust:

here is an early version of the karmann ghia (55-58; low light) station wagon hanging on the production line in osnabrück:

YOU Sir, have too much time on your hands!

The two below are still my favorites. The top one more practical, the bottom one coolest looking. Those rear side windows are not gonna work in the real world though...

here is another rare picture of a karmann delivery van; the photo must have been taken until 1958:

here is a rare ad from beginning seventies from brazil; it shows the vw tc 145 sw, a four door station wagon with a flat 1600 ccm motor and 65 hp.

No they don't...all Photoshop images. This is the only thing that worries me about this thread, somewhere down the line we're going to get a lot of questions about the rare KG Shooting Brakes. :?

yep! you´re right! this is what i do in the evening (my free time!!), when my wife is looking desperate housewifes or what else!!
and as you see, this thread is called "photoshop games on ghias". so, all pics in here are fakes!

prostreetnotch Sat Jan 07, 2012 3:09 am

and to make you think about these looking real pics, i "create" a little story (of course fake too!! ). in times of google and wikipedia everyone believes in what is written or can be seen on the internet!

Flush_GHia Sat Jan 07, 2012 12:53 pm

:idea:I want to make one like the root beer one up top, then it will snip the back of bra's through all the suburbs 8). "No desperate wives needed".

Well, I know thay are well-done fakes, but the advertisement for the 1976 Ghia made me wonder, and want!
