in 1961, volkswagen showed this karmann ghia type 34 coupé on the internal car exhibition called iaa; with a lowered front end, wider rear rims and wheels, double rear lights and a double piped abarth exhaust:

looking almost like the vw 145 tc from brazil, volkswagen had several prototypes with changing forward and backward lights, grill elements, air intakes and bumper versions:

The two below are still my favorites. The top one more practical, the bottom one coolest looking. Those rear side windows are not gonna work in the real world though...

No they don't...all Photoshop images. This is the only thing that worries me about this thread, somewhere down the line we're going to get a lot of questions about the rare KG Shooting Brakes. :? |

yep! you´re right! this is what i do in the evening (my free time!!), when my wife is looking desperate housewifes or what else!!

Well, I know thay are well-done fakes, but the advertisement for the 1976 Ghia made me wonder, and want!
