The junk yard owner based the value of everything in the yard off of what things sell for restored. He thought this car was worth around $7000. I ended up trading him a mobile home that was given to me, for it. The guy that gave me the mobile home was going to junk it, and knew the junk yard owner wanted it for storage. The same guy helped me get our double cab and 62 Kombi out of the junkyard (he traded a diesel suburban for those two and a bay Westy which he wanted then sold me the buses) |

This was right after pushing it out of the tarp covered cocoon it was stored in. It was there for 2 years. Off the road since 1993.

here is a picture of a 57 oval as found in a shed in northern Ontario Canada, I wanted to share a video as well--it is on youtube and you can find it if you search--basic bear barn find 1957 oval---unless someone can help me link or attach to a post. It is unedited and about 10 minutes;
