Thanks Everett, I think it would look so much better in black, I´ve noticed some issues along the assembly,for example, the spare tire includes a drum, I sent an email to De Agostini regarding that and I haven´t received feedback from them. That really piss me off since in the brochure the spare tire is showed without drum.

If you are going to paint them, paint the valve covers too.

Or maybe wait until you have the complete engine in case other things are strange colors?

Ha. That's funny. Its fair game once it's on the internet it seems. I've had several of mine pop up in ads, peoples pages, mags, and books. Last one I saw was one I did give the nod for in a book and was happily mentioned.

I like those transmission boots - nice detail.

Both heater tubes go into the center tube to carry heat up front?
Doh! Only Kombis do that, Deluxes have one pipe that goes under the rear seat for rear passenger heat

It looks like it would be very difficult to change that.

Do you know if the top side of the cargo floor has the rear seat heater tube?

This is what a Deluxe looks like, there is a cap on one side and the other side goes right up through the floor to the rear seat heater log:

It looks so much complicated that I thought, despite it has the heater tube under the passenger seat, I think I´ll pass on that modification since the bridge and the torsion bar were designed to fit in as is.
Anyway, model will be heavy enough to lift it up :lol: :lol: :lol:

The bumper detail looks nice

If you want to, paint the splash pans and maybe even the brackets black.

The splash pans were originally black and the bumper brackets were the same Silver White color as the bumper blade.

Painting the brackets might be a pain though and maybe that is not visible anyway?

My bumper from my old '64 with all the correct colors (USA style with overriders):

I really appreciate all your comments, since to be honest, I´m practically new in this.....

It´s an easy mod and already have the paint so in the next Assembly I´ll put some pictures of it.
