Here you go bugguy Might be a place to start and maybe get some knowledge and insight. I also picked up a set of JE 92 forged pistons from AA. I also want to try and do it right. Maybe more beneficial to start a new topic thread alluding to correct prep and honing Sure can't hurt to know more.

| That's true. Although knowing more won't do me much good. I don't quite have the correct tools to do the job myself. We have everything except for the plates to do the job here. |

I got mine on Friday look very nice have not measured or weighed them yet.

Mine won't be here until Thursday. I'm trying to figure out how i will do some sort of mock up. I dont know if you got the race version too or not, but apparently the pin/compression height is 33mm, so it's not going to work out like standard ones. I think i have another set of stock rods around here somewhere i can check them with. I'm thinking with a 78.4 mm crank, a 5.6" rod will be best.
Thanks for the link brother! |

402g bare flat-top Wiseco piston
423g with rings
555g with rings, pins & buttons (aluminum Jaycee)
Later, I switched to a larger cam requiring valve notches which reduced mass by 5g |

| I don't think people should be afraid of running 94mm pistons anymore there are thick walled 94mm sleeves on the market. |
