Off to a good start on the passenger side. I got multiple panels made, fitted and tacked into place.

Added the Jack point detail and located the torsion cover hole and final fit the panel.
I discovered a ton of lead that was covering some yuckyness. I removed all that and started hand shaping the lower fender.
Ya know ever once in a while I have to remake something. The lower front fender panel I put on yesterday had to be made again. I attached it with out noticing damage to the fender that was causing it to be all of of wack. I cut it off. Made a new and bigger patch panel and all was good in the universe. 😜👊

Hey folks…. This rotation we are back on the 59 kab
First Order of business will be to weld up and metal finish the passenger side lower repairs.
Once we are happy there it’s time to address a bunch of random dents and holes on the driver rear quarter. The creases and slide hammer holes in the fender do not look horrible in photos but don’t let it’s good looks fool ya. 😜👊

Still a bit more metal to move on the driver res quarter up a huge improvement
We even started taking care of the inner heater channel repair
This one is on track to be wrapped up in record time again. 🤩👊

Been watching your thread and can't get over the metal work and skill associated with this project. 1st class work and attention to detail. Thanks for sharing this. I am contemplating a 1956 hardtop restoration. Andy |

I'm guessing you fabricated the body frame that allows the body to tilt down incrementally. Would you mind sharing the general fabrication measurements. It seems like it works well and has an element of simplicity. Thanks Andy |
