That's great news! Annoyingly too late for me :(

I have seen some of his early Beetle pressings and they are extremely good.

Hey there. So this is the original design I used and the just made it somewhat smaller

This is a dodecagon , a 12 sided paragon.

Fun to build really.

The one I’m using is one complete hoop the I cut in half.

Here is the link to measurements to get you started

I too was inspired by that thread and the dodecagon design for my Ghia build. If you follow that link from Mr Wren then scroll to page 2 there's the dimensions I worked out for the same idea to fit my Ghia. I also made it smaller than the Bus version. There's a photo of my Ghia in the frame. I would recommend bracing along the centre line so frame rock too much and doesn't stress the mounting points. The brace can be a small section of tubing from the frame to any existing bolt hole on the body.

Christian has been painstakingly going over lots of random rust spots. I’m just showing the major ones. 👊

It is a dream come true to werk with my Son. He has great Goals for life so I don’t know how long he will stick around but I’m enjoying every minute of it while I can. ⚒☑️🤍
