Bay Bus Westy Drive Away Tent Price: $475

Here is a nice tent from a 1973-79 Bay Bus. The reason why it is for a 73-79 is because of the extra window at the Bus side. This is so you can open up the jealousy window even though the tent is in place. This tent will work with any year split, bay, or vanagon though. It is in really good shape. It has all of its correct poles. One metal snap is missing on one of the corners. It comes with 7 original stakes. It does not have any of the hold down ropes, stake bag, pole bag, or tent bag. All of the zippers are original & all in good working order. There are no rips in the actual tent itself.
The tent looks a little funny in the poles. I realized after it was all set-up that I installed the tent backwards in the poles.
There are a few small flaws in the tent.
A couple of very small holes in the netting/screens, see pics.
One small rip at the bottm rear where the tent secures to the front wheel well of us.
One missing roof loop for securing the top of the tent to the poles.
Two repaired loops for securing the top of the tent to the poles.
One more of the loops that the top hooks slips into is ripped.
In all there is only the 2 top loops that will need repair to use this tent without issue. Other than that it is ready to camp in now.
I have not attempted to clean or repair anything on this tent. I am sure with a minor amount of light cleaning with just a towel & water it would look much nicer.
