These are the latest version photographed on my Mango bus ('64) and the Porsche bus ('61) with the leading edge fold.

Unlike others made back in the day, this option is not permanent, "no holes to drill in bodywork"
Ideal for Autobahn Summer Cruising for larger motors with long 1303s gearing.
Overcome the asthmatic problem with splitscreen buses, and force cool air into the engine bay, aiding cooling and performance.
Fasten or remove in a couple of minutes.
Fabricated from 1.5mm TIG welded Alloy, supplied bare (Paint or polish to a mirror finish), with stainless fasteners and rubber channel to protect bodywork.
Recommendation from customer using the late 63-67 kit "Have to say, these are top quality and have seemed to introduced a fair amount of additional cool air into my bus. Was having a few problems with engine bay temps and these have definately helped, I'm seeing 10 deg reduction in oil temp so must be better in actual air temp in the engine bay now.
Mine's running a turbo, so that engine bay get's hot. Got to be close to ultimate test so can only be better still on a N/A bus.
Though I only know mike through buying these, I have no issues with a well deserved plug. Oh, and I didn't get them cheaper or free for saying this!!"
