I am selling 100% faithful reproduction cloth fender beading
for split and oval Beetles from 1941 to 1955 (inside black rubber,
outside black fabric, all dimensions like original)
After long research to find the original material VW used
for their cloth fender beading in the 1940s and 1950s, I found the German company which produced this special material.
Although this material is out of stock since the 1980´years. I found limited NOS material with the help of that German company.
As you can see on the pics, it is the same kind of material you can find in different split Beetles from 1941 to 1955.
This cloth fender beading was used in KDF beetle, KDF kubel, split export, split standard, oval beetle, Hebmüller and Karmann convertible up to 1955.
You can buy the beading in a set of four. Each strip is 200 cm long, enough for one fender. A special cutting tool is included. With the tool you can cut the holes for the screws in the original way.
