1970 Flamed Ghia show winner, this Ghia has been totally restored, and then restored again!! Since it was last seen in Hot VW's in the March issue of 2001. It has had flames added, a new turboed stroker motor dropped in it, and all new interior. If you haven't seen this car at a show, or some type of VW event you need to check it out. This car is beautiful from top to bottom!
Engine: 2010cc, DPR 78mm crank, turbo cam, CB Performance H beam Rods, 90.5 stroker pistons, 042 ported and polished with high rev springs, all balanced {pistons,rods,crank,flywheel}, 8-9 quart oil capacity, two oil coolers and thermostatic oil cooler, deep sump, hardened rocker shafts, Kenedy stage 2 clutch, side draft 40mm Weber, Garrett turbo chromed and polished, merged headers, with custom exaust by Scottys muffler, 911 Porsche style fan shroud, all chromed and color matched to car, hydraulic strut hood hinges.
Transmission: Freeway flyer 3:88 ring and pinion, heavy side cover, 1:1 4th gear
Car: Corvette Yellow with flames done by Li'l Louie in San Bernardino, front and rear bumper restored and rechromed, Porsche 2.0L rims color matched to car, European Continental tires ContiEco Contact EP 175/55R15 imported from Europe.
