Gold Chem. Treatment / Service   Price: see ad.
******************************************************************************************************************
I have had numerous requests to offer this service to people who DO NOT want to spend mega $$ on my engine/transmission restorations but still want to have that million dollar NOS/New look. I dont blame them. I cant even afford to build one for myself! LOL!

This process is a chem. dye penetrant treatment that protects the magnesiums delicate exterior surface against the elements such as corrosion and oxidation (white chalky film). This is a process that was done by the factory AFTER the magnesium parts were cast. This is a "sacrificial" coating. It is NOT a paint, varnish nor anything that can put on at home!! Dont ask me how its done. Im an Aircraft Structural Engineer by trade and NOT a chemist! This finish will NOT wash off with laquer thinner, paint remover, gasoline, alcohol nor beer!!

After testing and trying out different methods for years, trying to duplicate the factory's original finish, I have finally got it! Dont let ANYONE try to convince you this finish is incorrect. The people that say this finish is incorrect are the people that ALREADY BUILT their engines / transmissions without it!!! Too bad.. :-( This is the exterior finish that show car judges are now looking for on all magnesium VW / Pre-A 2pc. 356 engine blocks and all VW / 519 Porsche splitcase transmission housings. See photos. DO NOT restore your precious VW / 356 Pre-A 2pc. engines or VW / Porsche 519 transmissions without this finish! Very important!!

Please send me an email for pricing / shipping / info. if you wish to take your VW / Porsche restoration to the next level.. Email: [email protected]
