Detailing the motor compartment

I'll save all the old insulation but in the Midwest, I want to see what is behind it at all times. So I finished the welding/brazing, put some filler around to smooth things out and cleaned all the old glue off the firewall, sanded the rest of the deck, wire brushed some stuff and shot some dark green on it. Close to what it was but not exactly.

The light stuff is filler to smooth out the welds and the pits. But all the holes are plugged. I can't sand the filler until the paint hardens a bit more. It's a little muggy here but the paint went on ok. It will just take a while longer to flash.

That is going to be a very nice engine compartment. I can't wait to do 10,000 more things so I can put the motor back in. I have an extra set of tins so I want to sort through and pick the best and get it cleaned up and painted a nice shiny black.
